worked as a mixed animal veterinarian, with a special interest in equine reproduction and dentistry, at the Animal Hospital of Pasco.  Upon moving to Idaho in 2005, Dr. Roche worked part time at Addison Animal Center in Twin Falls, seeing small animal patients and started Roche Equine Veterinary Services, P.A.  Dr. Roche’s passion is equine reproduction and medicine and now sees equine patients exclusively.  Dr. Roche is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the Society For Theriogenology (animal reproduction), the Idaho Veterinary Medical Association and the Magic Valley Veterinary Association.  Dr. Roche enjoys educating people about horse health care, she has presented at many owner education events and writes a monthly  article for Horse Sports newspaper.

Dr. Melinda Roche grew up in West Richland, Washington on a cattle ranch.  She spent the summers, during college, working as an assistant for mixed animal veterinarian, Dr. Hank Oliver.  She received a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Washington State University and then her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, also from Washington State University, in 2000.  She returned to Pasco, Washington and
rotated bi-weekly between the medicine and surgery services.  From June of 2006 to January of 2008, she practiced large animal medicine at The Animal Clinic of Moscow, Idaho.  She then decided to follow the equine industry and became part of the Roche Equine Veterinary Services team in February of 2008. She enjoys many aspects of equine medicine including Dentisty, lameness, reproduction and emergency care.
Dr. Misty Rhett was raised on a small mule ranch just outside Lewiston, Idaho. She graduated from Orofino High school in 1998 and attended the University of Idaho from 1999 to 2001. In May of 2005, she received her DVM degree from Washington State University, College of Veterinary Medicine.  She continued with specialized training as an intern at Idaho Equine Hospital in Nampa, Idaho.
